Combating Food Insecurity: Nourishing Our Community
At Serving Hands CDC, we believe no one should go hungry. However, food insecurity still affects families, children, and seniors in our community.
That’s why we take action through partnerships and practical support. Each week, our food pantry serves about 190 families every Saturday morning.
As a result, families receive groceries and fresh food when they need it most.
Food insecurity affects more than access to meals—it impacts health, education, and stability. Many families must choose between paying bills and buying food. As a result, children may struggle to focus in school, and seniors may face increased health risks.
Through our Tampa food pantry, we provide consistent access to nutritious groceries. To learn more about our outreach efforts, visit our community programs page.
Our Approach to Fighting Hunger
Who We Serve
